♥ Elegant altered ballerina ♥

I love ballerinas :)  just so elegant and would really love a real pair of ballet slippers for decoration, maybe someday I shall buy a pair ... "in pink of course LOL"
I bought these wooden shaped ballerinas a few years back and eventually got round to altering one.
I glued lovely script design paper into the wood and used gorgeous pink lace for the tutu.
For the waistband I used pink seam binding and added a cute pearl bow embellishment and then added a tiny pink pearl on it and a tiny cabachon rose in her hair.  I then went over the ballerina with with wink of stella (I don't know if picture is picking it up)

Have a blessed weekend ♥

♥ Crocheted heart Wedding photo frame ♥

Hi there :)  just popping by to show you all my latest crochet project, a cute heart shaped frame that I made using my Wplus9 dies and some gorgeous Peter Pan yarn to frame our Wedding photo.
I have loads of bangles, but cant seem to find heart shaped ones anywhere.
I have been crocheting the frames for photos and for gifts for family and friends and want to make some decorative items too using bangles/crocheting.
It still amazes me what you can create with a crochet hook & a ball of yarn :)

♥ Tiny Tilda gift card ♥

Hi there :)  a little mini notecard to share with you today using my new Tilda goodies.  The background paper is from the "Happiness is homemade 12 x 12 paper pad" ...  love this paper so much!  kept my card very CAS .. adding 2 of the Tilda vintage themed paper tags and added a little heart pearl embellishment.  This card measures slightly smaller than a 3" x 3" card so it can fit into the tiny Papertrey envelopes that I have been "hoarding" for years! .. LOL :)

Have a fab weekend

♥ Sweet little shabby chic crochet hanging ornaments ♥

Hi there ... what a beautiful day it is here in Northern Ireland :)  I do hope the weather is great were you are.  I am getting back into my love of shabby chic creating,  I didn't realise just how much I missed it and now that I have learned to crochet I am loving combining my paper crafting with my crocheting  My friend custom ordered these for a birthday gift for her friend and I was super excited to make them for her.
I crocheted around the paper {I found an old cuttlebug die that has a circle with holes pierced round it and it is perfect!! for this technique} and I used Melissa Frances 5th Ave paper, beautiful pink paper roses, pearl trim and pearl hearts and beautiful seam binding.  I must make myself one as I love how they turned out. The butterfly is cut from a Papertrey ink die.

Have a blessed weekend ♥

The celebrate is cut from a Waffle Flower die (love the font)  The tiny heart in centre of butterfly is from a Paper Smooches set.

♥ Mr & Mrs ♥

Hi there ... two posts in one week ... LOL ... on a roll :)   I made this card for our niece who is getting married this year and I love how it turned out, a lovely soft shabby chic design.
The little bird cage is a wood veneer piece and I added a ribbon bow and lace, mulberry flower and at either side of the flower I added two heart pearl embellishments.  The background paper is a new paper pad I got, its from Lemoncraft ~ House of Roses , absolutely gorgeous paper and it is quite a heavy weight paper, definitely buying more! :)

♥ Another card for Ribbon girl April challenge ♥

Hi there, hope you are all having a blessed day.  Popping in to share another card that i'm going to enter into Ribbon girl April challenge  I recently bought this super!! cute stamp by Stamping Bella and I think it is totally adorable :)  I have seen a few more of their cute stamps I would like.
I am trying to start building up my copic collection again as I hadn't been colouring for a very long time, but I bought a colouring book and it just reminded me just how much I had missed colouring in my stamped images and how relaxing it is.
This little guy is called "mail chick" and I just used some simple matting and layering with my stitched rectangles.  This set does come with a sentiment which I didn't use on this card, I decided to use a sentiment from Lawn fawn instead

Have a fab weekend ♥

♥ Mother's Day ♥

Hi there, hope is all going well with your day.  I just popped in to share Mother's day cards that I made for both my Mum & Mother in law  I have had this paper pad from Authentique ~ Uncommon collection for "ages" I am being really good using up my stash this year as it does seem such a shame to keep hoarding.
I inlaid the heart (Wplus9) and then layered it up a few times to give some dimension.  I then went on to layer up the Mom die from L'il Inkers and inlaid the centre heart piece.  I also made matching bookmarks to pop inside, haven't photographed them yet, I more than likely will post them on my Instagram.

Have a blessed day ♥

♥ Simon says Stamp ~ anything goes ♥

Hi there ... It's a beautiful day here Northern Ireland :) so my card is very fitting with the little "sun" die cut and "smile" die cut.  Lots of layering going on with this card, everything is layered (",)
I die cut stitched L'il Inkers polaroid frame and the design paper is from Amy Tangerine.  The butterfly is cut using Papertrey card with vellum over it and then I machine stitched the "smile" die and some wink of stella.  the lovely sentiment is from Mama Elephant
This butterfly Memorybox die has to be one of my most used dies.  I got it ages ago on sale for £3 and I just love it! as you can probably tell if you pop by regularly :)
