♥ Addicted to CAS ~ JOY ♥

Just completed this card for the Addicted to CAS challenge ~ "JOY"    I have to admit I love how it turned out :)
I used pearl card for the base card, then another piece of pearl card which I embossed with Sizzix embossing folder rounding the corners.  The "JOY" die from Wplus9 is on 3d foam pads to give some dimension, so is the stitched circle.  I added wink of stella over the JOY die, don't know if photo is picking it up and a bunch of messy silver thread behind the sentiment.  Then of course no card is complete without some "enamel dots" or "bling".

thanks for stopping by!

♥ Paper Smooches challenge ♥

I made these cute little 3" x 3" pearl note cards for my mum as part of her Christmas gift.  I made 8 in total but I couldn't get a good photo of them all as I am not great with my camera (",)
The sentiment dies are from Paper Smooches and they are layered on a Memory box butterfly die which I first cut from card stock then another layer of vellum on top and some messy thread behind the butterfly.  The paper is from Echo Park cut using MFT stitched squares.
Paper Smooches are looking for a guest designer for January so I decided to join in :)

♥ CASology ~ TREE ♥

I'm busy ... LOL ... two posts in one day :)  just having fun with my card making and die cuts.
This card is for challenge over at CASology  - Tree is the cue word.
I made this circle shaped card using my MFT stitched circles cut from cream pearl card stock, and I die cut and embossed the trees from Hero Arts, also using the same pearl card.  I wrapped some silver thread around the middle tree and it is popped up on 3d foam dots. Then a few shimmer dots for the baubles. The little star on top is a wooden embellishment.  I popped a blue glitter banner in the background from Papertrey.

Have a lovely evening ♥

♥ For my amazing Husband ♥

My Husband and I will be celebrating our 8th Wedding Anniversary this Friday
I just finished making this card for him :)
I used a Memory box heart border die which I cut 4 out and glued them together for some dimension, (photo isn't capturing it)  the sentiment is from Waltzing Mouse (have this years)  and added some glass droplets (again this picture isn't picking them up)   My camera totally needs to be changed, have had it nearly 10 years (",)   The cute little gold love birds are actually little salt & pepper pots that belonged to my grandparents.  Also a tiny little die cut arrow from Paper Smooches

Have a fab day! ♥

♥ Joy ♥

Hi there ... continuing sharing my handmade tags which I am enjoying making and also great way to use up bits and pieces of cardstock which we all tend to gather and seems a shame to bin.
I love this particular die from Papertrey as it looks quite like a Christmas tree bauble, and I also love how my stitched circle die-mamics dies fit perfectly with this die.  The "Joy" word die is from Wplus9 and snowflake from Hero Arts.  Speaking of "snow" we had a little flurry of it today,  I think it's safe to say winter is definitely here.

Have a fab weekend and stay warm
hugs ♥♥

♥ Jingle bells Christmas tag ♥

Hi there .... very long time from I blogged.  I have been busy crocheting blankets over the last few months for Christmas presents, so my card making was "slightly" neglected.  So I decided to go through all embellishment I have hoarded (some for years!!) and sat at my craft desk creating Christmas tags.  I love how this one turned out and this is for my Mum :)
I used Kraft card from Papertrey cut out tag from Waltzing Mouse stitched tag dies (love these!)
and the bells I must have in my stash about 8 years ... LOL ,  can anyone else relate to this kind of "hoarding?"   The little reindeer is a wood embellishment, and I used L'il Inkers stitched banner die and Hero Arts Christmas tree die and a wooden star.

I am going to join in with Simon says stamp challenge ~ Christmas

I am looking forward to putting up our decorations in couple of weeks
Thanks for stopping by ♥

♥ Little hanging cushion ♥

Hi there :)   no cards today .  I got out all my sewing bits and bobs and made this little decorative hanging cushion.  I forgot I had this beautiful Tilda fabric that I bought ages ago in a sample pack off Ebay.  I made the rosette flower using elastic gingham ribbon and added a Tilda fabric brad as the button for centre and stitched two chunky felt leaves.  I hand stitched on the bobbin trim and the seam binding and also the buttons.  The buttons are also from Tilda (I am loving the Tilda range, soooo adorable! )  I actually won a little bundle of Tilda supplies a few years ago which included ... fabric, a bottle of pink buttons, 5 x rolls ribbon, a pack of appliques and fabric brads .... hoarding as usual .... LOL :)

Hope you are all doing well
have a fab evening ♥

♥ Lawn Fawn ~ Thinking of you ♥

I recently bought myself some Lawn fawn stamps and I think they are sooooo adorable!!!  I love this set especially, called "chit chat" and I then bought the matching dies as I think they look nicer cut out with the matching dies, it gives them a lovely crisp finish.
I added a scallop stitched border from L'il Inkers using Avery Elle paper along the bottom ... very CAS and cute!

Have a fab day ♥

♥ City Crafter Challenge ~ Week 265 ~ tic TAG toe ♥

Hi there .... Something a little different from me today :)  .... Well I used to make shabby chic style cards, tags etc if you have followed me for years you will already know this.  I love this style just as much as CAS.  This gorgeous! paper is one I have hoarded ... LOL (we all have those paper pads?? ... don't we??) is Melissa Frances Fifth Ave and I adore this paper, don't even know if it is retired.
Anyhow I was browsing through challenge blogs and City Crafter's Challenge, is to make a tag or use a tag on your project.  So I got out a few of my shabby chic trimmings ... seam binding, jute, paper rose and pearl string and die cut a stitched tag from Waltzing Mouse and butterfly die from Memory box and a little silver puffy heart dangle embellishment that Mandy sent me years ago :) and this is what I created :)

Hope you all have a fab weekend ♥

♥ CAS(E) this sketch! ... #123

Hi there ... I'm on a wee roll with my card making :)  Another card for another challenge today for CAS(E) this sketch.
I love this modern colour combo.
I used Waffle flower thank you sentiment from the 100% love mini stamp set and L'il inkers stitched banner dies behind the sentiment.  It's difficult to see stitch details as it's cut from gold glitter card.
Added some messy gold thread behind that, and popped it up on 3d tape.
Along the bottom I added a strip of stripey paper from Echo Park and Doodlebug white enamel dots and finally a paint splat stamp.
