Simple....but effective cuttlebug card :)

Hi there, here is a very simple and effective way to use the ever so popular cuttlebug embossers {what did we do before them!! LOL :) } This is the pretty bird one which I embossed with pearlised cardstock I had left over from my wedding invitations :) and the card is burgundy {also left over from my wedding invitations} and basically I added 2 pearl {Hero arts} gem stones and tied a piece of gingham ribbon, and there you have it!! :)

You have no idea how many photos I have taken of this card, I couldn't get a great picture of it. I have a Nikon coolpix s9 if any of you own a camera of the same model I would be sooooo grateful for a few photography tips, I am nooooo good whatsoever with cameras. :( anyhow thats my moan over for today {lol} enjoy your evening :) :)

2 AWARDS :) :)

Here are 2 awards that I received :) the first is from smriti {ribbons etc} and the second from Debby {Debby4000}, so I would just like to thank these two talented ladies for thinking of me and im just going to say if you are a regular to my blog and haven't been award any of these two awards, help yourself :) Have a great weekend!!! :) hugzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz xx

Christmas is coming......

I got an order last week for 50 Christmas cards, im sooooo delighted and busy!! busy!! and thoroughly enjoying it. This is a Penny Black stamp and I decided not to colour it, I personally think it looks better black and white, so I added a pearl stone gem to one of the penguins hats :)
The spotty paper is from Stampin up and was very kindly sent to me as a gift last year from Laurie {Stamping for God's glory} I couldn't bear to cut it last year, so I am definitely going to use it and enjoy it this year instead of storing it up like I had been doing with stamps and papers, but now im starting to enjoy them all.
The scallop circles????? yesssss nestabilities, cant get enough of them and its my birthday next monday and im planning on purchasing a couple more sets, cant wait!!!!!! :)
Enjoy the rest of your day :) xx

A little note....

Hi there, another card today :) keep "em" coming {lol} The cute owl stamp is from Sassafras and sentiment from Amuse {clear stamps} dotty paper from Doodlebug, I embossed edge of card with new border folders and attached some stitched ribbon {Amuse} and a Heidi Grace pin.
Hope your day has been pleasant :) xx

Celebrate the everyday :)

I made this card using a stamp from a Hero Arts set which I bought about 2 years ago, so decided it was time to start using my stamps that hadn't seen the light of day {lol} I added a Hero Arts pearl sticky stone to side of sentiment. The paper is {I think} from Pinkpetticoat and thought the pattern matched in well with the stamp.
I used the "good ole" swiss dots folder on black strip of card and scalloped a red piece of card for a border and some red "bling" to finish it off.
Have a great Sunday :) xx

laugh, smile, giggle :)

Hi there, here is a card I have just finished this very moment :) {dont even think the glue is dry, lol} The pink dotty paper is from Doodlebug, which is just scrummy!!! I stamped the circle of sentiments {Impression Obsession} on my nesties mounting them up on more nesties :) . The fancy 3d sticker was only a pound!!! for a sheet, can you believe it, what a bargain!! I added some stitched ribbon and 2 Hero Arts sticky pearls to bottom corner.
Hope you all have a great weekend :)

Thanks card :)

I must be on a roll :) think finally got my mojo back after months of no card making.
I have seen this shaped card on quite a few American blogs and just loved it, so I made this one from some bazzil cardstock and the spotty brown paper is from doodlebug. I used my new cuttlebug embossing borders, they are just beautiful I think, great invention :)
The stitched red ribbon by Amuse and thanks sentiment is embossed with cuttlebug mini folder and a Heidi Swapp cherry bling to finish off. Almost forgot my nestabilities were used in this card too with scalloped stampin up punch.
Enjoy your saturday xx

New stash :)

Here is a card I made using some of my "new stash" :) The stamps are by My favourite things, I just love all their fun designs. The brown spotty paper is from Doodlebug, I got a couple of other great colours too. The red strip of card in centre is using my new cuttlebug borders which I think are fab!!!! and some new ribbon to finish.
Have a great weekend, lets hope the rain stays away!!! xx

Deam BIG :)

Woooohooo!!!! another card :) I made using my new nestabilities and an inkadinkadoo duo clear stamp set which when I seen thought would look perfect with the nestabilities.
The doodled circle is one part of stamp set which I stamped first onto card and then cut through
my cuttlebug using the nestabilities. I then layered a stampin up scalloped circle followed by the smallest nestabilities using the "dream big" sentiment and a little cherry bling {Heidi Swapp} fitted snug inside the "G". The spotty paper is from 7 gypsies and lime green ric rac to finish.
Happy Monday!! :) xx
