I would have loved to have stitched round the edges, as I personally think it would have finished this card off, but as I am out of white and cream thread, I couldn't :( must try and remember to stick some on my shopping list.
Got my hair coloured today for my Wedding, I like the colour better once it has time to settle down a bit. Two weeks to go, and im so excited I can hardly sleep :)

Tagged by Andrea, Deb, Dawn and Mandy!!!!!

Hi there, I have been tagged by four lovely blogger pals :) Andrea , Deb, Dawn and Mandy :)

1} If you could have £100 worth of scrapbook paper or assorted embellishments, which would you choose?
Well that goes without saying, SCRAPBOOK PAPER!!!! love paper!!!!

2}If you had to choose between using only stamps or rub ons, which would you choose?
I know I use a lot of rub ons, but stamps would win time and time :)

3}If you knew how to do both awsome cards and layouts, but could only do one for a year, which would it be?
Initially this blog started out as scrapping, but ended up back doing what I love best!! definitely cards :)

4} Would you rather own a Scrapbooking store or have your own scrapping room at home??
Definitely my scrapping room at home, a stress free place to be, running a shop would mean you would have to go in and work everyday with all the outside stress and pressure that goes with owning a business.

5} Last but not least, what is your current cardmaking/scrapping style??
Im into quite colourful cards and as you have noticed, love to make a lot of my own felt embellishments :)

Thank you ladies for this tag xxxx

Now I choose, Leigh, Louly, Nicola, debs, Becky {so hard to pick blogging pals :}

Merci

Well as you can all see I managed to make a card!!!! {yippeeeee}. I made this believe it or not while I was snuggled up on my sofa with my favourite blanket, and every two seconds I was asking poor Craig to pass me this? get me that? he is a wee honey :)
So I did my fave shape card, hinging it adding a border rub on {American Crafts} and 2 Queen & Co brads {dont look too close the border is not straight!!!} The lovely background paper is from Cosmo Cricket and I love it!! I then addded 3 x swirly corner rub ons {American Crafts} with a little bling on each one {hard to see unless you zoom in the photo} The Merci sentiment is a rub on {Making Memories} and I made the oval frame using my large scallop punch and medium size plain oval punch, sanding the edges with a nail file, then adding Kelly Paccini flower epoxy stickers and bling for the centre.
Im doing better than I was though I am still very weak, my legs are like jelly.
Thank you all so much for well wishes, much appreciated!!! I couldn't sleep last night and would you believe I joined a forum about half one or two in the morning {lol} its TJC designs forum, we do out of the blue things like that us crafters, anyhow, I have babbled on enough, I shall go visit my blogging pals now :)

Im not well :(

Hi everyone, what a day and night I had yesterday. I woke at 5.00am with terrible tummy ache and vomiting up bile {water} I also couldn't move I was stuck in bed, it was such a frightening experience. So by the evening time we had to phone the Bell doc, then they wouldn't come out, made me go to A&E {what a health service, not good} Any how I had to go in my dressing gown and slippers, with Craig & my mum helping me to walk. I was at the hospial 5 and half hours, though I do have to say the staff where amazing and looked after me very well. I had blood tests , put on a drip, chest x-ray, you name it they throughly checked me out.
So it turns out I have a very serious urine infection which went into my system, making me so ill and covered in those crippling pains. Im on a high dose of antibiotics and I feel so so weak, but at least got it sorted. So I just wanted to let you know why I haven't popped over to leave you comments, as you all know I love to visit your blogs :)
So im sure I will have a card in a few days hopefully if not sooner :)

Take care!!! xxx

My Wedding Invitations

Here it is.... the moment you all have been waiting for.... "My Wedding Invitations", and now I gotta know is it thumbs up??? Being a card maker, you dont know what people expect from you, as that was the first question after congratulating me of course!! {lol} "Are you making your own invites????" so I just hope nobody will be disappointed. I myself am pleased with them and didn't go over the top, as thats a golden rule with wedding invites, one embellishment too much could spoil the whole design. So I think, I have captured exactly what I wanted :)
My photography skills, are definitely not up for any nominations {lol}
So thats todays post, and I know I promised you all a picture of my tiarra and earrings, I haven't forgotton, just been so busy, but you definitely will get a peak :)
Hugzzzzz and smiles xx

Vanessa

I really could keep going with the list, but gotta stop at ten!!!! you all make me smile , all my blogger pals!!
